Spring is here!
Spring is here. First and foremost, our 5th Annual Technology Fundraiser, this year themed “SuperTech,” launches on Friday, March 18th and goes until Monday, April 18th. This event raises funds to increase technology and STEAM programs at Running Springs Elementary. Last year’s funds are being put towards a brand new Audio/Visual system in the MPR, which is being installed in the next 2 months.
The goals of this year’s fundraiser include adding tech programs to the school, such as coding and other STEAM initiatives. We’ll also be expanding our Teacher Grant Program and adding resources to the STEAM Labs, which are expected to resume activities in the Fall.
One of the take-aways from the pandemic is that technology is indispensable to education at all levels, both for students and educators. For that matter, all of us parents have had to step up tech-game too. The importance of technology – and especially tech programs – couldn’t be more relevant for our children to succeed, both academically and in their careers.
So please participate with us and help support Running Springs as we continue to enhance and elevate our children’s education. And, as always, let’s have some fun in the process. Remember, it’s a FUNraiser!
Our Dads Club will also organize the rescheduled Family Beach Clean Up at Huntington Beach on April 24th.
Let’s have a fun and engaging Spring season! Remember, it’s all about the kids, so please join us.
