Welcome Back RedHawks
Students are heading back to school, and we are gearing up for what is sure to be a great 2023-2024 school year! As we plan for the year we are excited to continue some of our students’ favorite events. The Foundation will put on 3 “STEAM Series” events this year, one per trimester. This after school event gives students the chance to engage in hands-on STEAM experiences, while collaborating with their peers, and having fun in the process. In the past students have done everything from programming BeeBots, to building solar ovens, to designing and launching a bottle rocket. STEAM Series is always a lot of fun, and we are excited to continue it with new, innovative experiences for the children.
We are also happy to announce our Golf Tournament is returning this year! After a brief hiatus last year, we are eager to get this event back on the calendar. A fan-favorite, this event draws participants from all over southern California and beyond. We have a lot of fun at this event, and this year will be no exception. It’s special to see the community come together to support EFAH and the work we do. Look for a date confirmation and sign-up link for this event soon. Sponsorship opportunities will also be available.
And of course, the STEAM Labs will be full of fun this year, allowing children to engage in STEAM activities on a regular basis, fostering innovative thinking, and creativity.
As always, we are grateful for the opportunity to serve the Redhawk community!
