Spring is in the Air!
“A kind word is like a spring day.” Isn’t that the truth? Spring is such a refreshing time. It has an uplifting feeling that it seems we can’t get enough of. Fresh air, flowers blooming, and birds chirping are like nature’s way of saying, “Have a lovely day.”
We here at the foundation love the renewed energy that comes from this time of year. With Earth Day approaching in April we are brainstorming ideas for our upcoming Spring STEAM Series, which will have an Earth Day theme. This will tie in nicely with the Dad’s Club 2nd Annual Beach Clean Up. We feel privileged to be able to provide these events for our Redhawk family. It’s great to watch the children apply concepts in a new way, and get hands on with their learning.
We aim to continue these events and MORE, which is what we are fundraising for in our 6th Annual STEAM Fundraiser. This event funds most of what we do, so please support the foundation by fundraising for these programs. More information can be found under the “Events” tab. We’ve worked hard to procure exciting prizes and events for the students because we think they are “Out of this World.”
